Taco Soup

• 1 lb. hamburger (85% to 90% lean beef) 

Crumble and lightly brown it, don’t cook until hard. 
Drain well and add: 

• 1 chopped onion
  
• 1 chopped green pepper 
  

Add the following undrained: 

• 1 can chopped tomatoes 
• 1 (15-oz.) can corn 
  
• 1 (15-oz.) can small black beans 
• 1 small can green chilies 
  
• 1 (15-oz.) can pinto beans 
• 2 cups water 
  

Simmer all for 20 minutes.  Then add 1 package of McCormick’s Taco Seasoning.  Stir and simmer again until hot.  Serve with tortilla chips or corn bread.  Top with grated cheese.  Makes a big pot full.
